Bye Bye Torquay!

These last three months in Torquay has been a huge and satisfying experience.

I came with the idea of working practices and improve a language, but I found much more.

At work I have met great people and learned a lot about audiences and how to organize art events.

On the other hand Torquay is a charming town, its streets and its people are very welcoming, with an incredible nightlife and fun.

And finally and most importantly, I found a family. My host family treated me like a daughter and now I have a new brother, Shaun. And also my Spanish friends! With whom I spent the best times and who have shared this great experience, being for all memorable.

I hope to return someday, but I'm sure I will always remember the time I spent here with a big smile.

Many thanks to everyone who made it possible.

This is the lovely village of Newquay, a town where we passed our last weekend in England. is a small and cozy town on the coast of Devon, where the surf is the epicenter of everything. The scenery is incredible and highlight the immensity cliffs to the sea.

The sea is always full of waves, surfers advantage for surfing every day, if the weather permits.

Kents Caverns

At the meeting on Thursday, we visited Kents Caverns, caves full of history.

The caverns and passages at the site were created around 2 million years ago by water action, and have been occupied by one of at least eight separate, discontinuous native populations to have inhabited the British Isles. The specimens discovered here are representative of the era's people (the other representative populations are Pakefield, Boxgrove, Swanscombe, Pontnewydd, Kent’s Cavern/Paviland, Gough's Cave and the present descendants of Celtic lineage).

Undoubtedly Kents Cavern is one of Britain's most special caves.

This is the flyer I made for Halloween daytime activities in Cockington. The activities were very good and we had a great time!
